For many decades safety was the ultimate goal in the automotive sector. With more and more software operating in a car (up to 100 ECUs), security has become as important as safety. Given new developments such as Car2Car or Car2X, safety and security cannot be considered separately anymore. They are the fundamental requirements for future cars. In addition to the user-centric data and privacy protection, we focus primarily on communication security, encryption and exchange of certificates and keys. Here we offer security design and security assessment as well as hardware based security (e.g. secure hardware extension (SHE) and hardware security modules (HSM)). We also have an in-depth know-how in AUTOSAR security and its modules. We are aware of intrusion detection becoming more and more important for the automotive sector and offer solutions to protect automobiles from IT-based attacks. This is a key challenge now and will increase in the future. We support you to combine safety and security perfectly in purpose to protect your customers and the drivers.
